Sweet & Sour Indian Tomato Chutney - Tomatsås

Chop tomatoes, onion, Green Chili and Green Coriander leaves in fine pieces

Take a flat pan, Put it on oven, light the oven and Pour some mustard oil(1+1/2 tablespoon), wait for 1/2 min

When oil is little hot, Put a pinch of Cumin Seed and Asafoetida. Wait for 1/2 min

Now put chopped tomatoes, onion and Green Coriander leaves in pan. Crush tomato with big tablespoon. Wait for 3-5 min.

When you see, Tomato will start leaving water, Put 3 tablespoon of sugar(If you like sweet sauces) or put 1 and 1/2 tablespoon salt(If you like tart flavor). Choice is your.

Now cover the pan with any plate, Little open in corner. So that little vapor come out of it(just like 3rd pic). Not fully open. It will retain taste of spices.

In between all these step, Keep stirring chutney(sauce) with a spoon till it become brown in color. It will take 5-7 min more depends on your oven light.

Garnishing: For garnishing, you can use green Coriander leaves.
